Maintenance Levy and Energy Points

To encourage parents participation an energy point system was developed, where parents are able to support the kindergarten with a time commitment their maintenance levy will be refunded for that term. If you are unable to commit the time and prefer to pay the maintenance levy it is a charge of $75 at the beginning of each term. Where 3 "Energy Points" have been achieved a refund will appear on your next term invoice usually offsetting the maintenance levy fee.

Energy Pointscan be gained by:

1. Volunteering on the committee

2. Helping with fundraising events

3. Assisting with jobs such as covering books, washing, sewing, playdough making

4. Assisting at Kindergarten and library area

5. Gardening and general grounds maintenance

6. Cleaning at the end of term

Consumables Levy

The consumables levy is to help with the cost of Kindergarten's consumable items such as cleaning supplies bathroom amenities and art & craft supplies, etc. The half yearly levy is payable at enrolment or commencement of your child's attendance and again with term 3 fees.

Health Care Card Subsidy

Families who hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card fees can be reduced by your entitlement via the Government Subsidy. Please present your current card on enrolment.

Please contact us if you are unsure of your subsidy entitlements.

The management committee, which is made up of parents is responsible for the management of the centre in terms of general management and finance, staffing, maintenance, cleaning, grant applications and fundraising.

At the beginning of the year the entire parent body has the opportunity to elect parents to be members of the Management Committee.
